Loot Rules

1. When an item drops that needs to be looted, the master looter will ask for quiet on Vent, and in raid chat. He will then link all the items that dropped. He will then link the first item up for bid and ask interested people to type “Bid” in raid chat. The person with the highest DKP that bid on the item will be announced in raid chat, and the item will be then handed to that person. In the event of a tie, there will be a /roll 100 for the item.

2. Items that are used for main spec will be charged DKP. Main spec is defined as the spec you raid with. That means if you are there as a Tank, and want a tank item there will be a DKP cost. If you are there as a tank and there happens to be a DPS item that you could use and no DPS class wants to bid on it, the item can be taken for no DKP charge. If multiple people want the 0 DKP item there will be a /roll 50 by interested people.

3. No one will be forced to take an item, it is your DKP, spend it as you see fit. Having said that no one will be able to take an item for their main spec for 0 DKP. If you don’t know that an item will be an upgrade or not we as a raid are not responsible for telling you. You should know what drops from bosses we are killing/attempting and if you want the item or not. In other words study your class and your gear to know what works best for you. BE PREPARED

4. You are not allowed to bid on an item unless you have attended a raid with us before. You can still receive an item if it is going to be sharded/left to rot. This is done so that our raid continues to progress, and someone doesn’t take an item, never to be seen again. If you are good enough to be with us when we kill bosses, you are good enough to be added to our list of future replacements. When you come back a second time you will have the DKP you earned the first time, plus any additional you earn that trip to spend as you see fit.

Earning DKP
DKP will be earned at 10 DKP per hour. This means no matter what we are doing during raid time everyone will be earning DKP for their time spent in the raid.
*Bonus DKP*
Bonus DKP can be earned the following ways:
Early Bird DKP= 5 (at 15mins before the raid starts, anyone who is in the instance or by the summoning stone)
First Boss Kills= 15
Monthly Attendance DKP= 40 (to qualify for this at the end of the month you need to attempt all the raid for that month)

You can lose DKP the following ways:
Being late (without informing the raid leader 24h before the raid)= -5
No Show (confirming on the calendar then not coming without informing the raid leader)= You lose the whole days worth of DKP that was earned. So apprx 40 DKP.
